RUMORS FLYING AROUND ABOUT APPLE
It seems that there are a lot of rumors going around suspecting that Apple is going to release a new iBook or mac mini at an exclusive media event containing a new Intel processor.
It would be nice to see the iBook get an Intel processor but if it does I want to see the G4 version to go down in price. The only reason I say this is because I can, right now, purchase an Intel based PC laptop , with a bigger screen, for less money with more power here in Canada. The problem with PC laptops is that they aren't built as well.
A Mac Mini would be a cool thing to see go Intel or at least a better G4 processor built-in for the same or less money. The thing is, the Mac Mini is your switch computer but look at the processor speed-1.25GHz @ $629.00. That's nuts. I already have a faster processor in my $399 Acer granted it runs a slower OS (namely WindowsXP; I miss Windows98) but at the same time it's guts are still faster.
I can tell Apple right now that the only thing stopping me from buying a Mac is the price. They are way to expensive.
